ACE SessionsAn ACE session is a conversation between ACE and a particular virtual server. You start a session by providing ACE with the information required to locate and log in to the server. Inside an ACE session, you have all of ACE's virtual server administration services available to you. When you are done administering the virtual server you can either close the session and open a new session with a different virtual server or simply quit ACE. There are three basic options for controlling ACE sessions:
Each action may be invoked by either clicking the corresponding button at the bottom of the main ACE window or by selecting it from the "Session" menu. Opening an ACE SessionThere are two ways to open an ACE session from the Session Manager window.
If you select an existing session from the left side of the Session Manager
window, simply click the "Connect" button after highlighting the desired
session name. Closing an ACE SessionThere are several ways to close the current session:
The ACE session will close and you will return to the blank ACE window. You will not be asked to confirm this operation. Once the session has been closed, you may open a new session with another virtual server, if you choose. Quitting ACEThere are also several ways to cause ACE to quit.
The ACE session will be closes, the ACE window will close, and ACE will quit. You will not be asked to confirm this operation.
